We will have the boards out early so feel free to warm up! * Depending on how quickly the 6:30 games finish, we may alter the 7:30 starting time accordingly as the weeks progress. LEAGUE FORMAT 1. Each team will play their opponent twice regardless of outcome. 2. All games should be played to 21 unless a team forfeits the game. 3. We will play cancellation scoring. The net score after each round of bags thrown is used. Example: If team A has a total of 3 points on the board and team B has a total of 2 points on the board, the net score will be 1 point awarded to team A. 4. The official cornhole playing rules will be used. http://www.playcornhole.org/rules.shtml If you are unfamiliar with these, please take a few minutes to read them. (The skunk rule will not be followed however. All games play to 21) 5. This league is self-officiating! If a score is in question, please resolve the issue with the other players of that game before continuing. If the issue cannot be resolved, the next bird that flies nearest to one of the disputing players will be declared winner of the dispute. 6. All players should be aware of the current score at all times. Before the first bag is thrown in any round or "inning", the score should be announced loud enough for the players at the opposite board to hear. The player announcing the score shall say their score FIRST, followed by the opponents' score. 7. At the completion of each team's two games, an official record kept at the bar will be updated with the outcome of the games. Please send a player from each team to the bar to do this. 8. The total number of games won at the end of the regular 7 week season will determine the league champion. First and second place teams will be awarded cash prizes. 9.
