BAGS OF HOPE provides specially prepared bags to severely abused and neglected children, 6 - 17 years of age, when they are initially admitted to residential treatment centers for help. Now serving three residential treatment centers:
Each bag is filled with toiletries, pajamas, socks, a game, snacks, a homemade journal, a stuffed animal and a homemade pillowcase.
These bags help minimize the fear and anxiety the children often experience upon arrival to a treatment centre and are often the first bridge to a world that really does care.
