Stalling is a good strategy to slow down an opponent so a straggling teammate can catch up. Remember that any time your car is touching your opponents, you will slow him down. If you cannot easily flip him, then "latching on" to your enemy while working your gears and brakes (BOTH regular brakes AND hand brake) is an effective way to slow him down or even bring him to a stop. Again, working the hand brake especially (<space>) while you are battling an opponent makes you stronger, and tougher to be pushed around. The major risk of trying to stall your opponent is that he will fly right by you before you can engage him, leaving you in his dust and your teammate even further behind. Good advice is to try and initiate your stall tactics near corners, when your opponent will have to slow down. It is important to KEEP MOVING FORWARD while you attempt to snare an enemy until you are actually in a position to slow him down. If you attempt to catch him from a stopped position, he will pass you by easily. Once you have made contact, staying in a lower gear will allow you to keep up with your prey if he starts to get away. Remember - maintaining contact is the key to slowing him down. Tips:
