today ( 2/3/10 ) to the sophomore class. This was due to changes in two
sophomore subjects; science and English. The English midterm was not
included in the original report card. The changes to the students' science grades were as follows: - score on the midterm exam will be taken out of 180 points instead of 200,
and one of two possible scenarios will happen with the second quarter project. - #1-
if the score on the project lowered the student's second quarter grade,
then the value of the project will cut in half so that it will not have
as large of an influence over the student's grade. This will take it
from ~35% of the grade to ~20%
- #2- If the score on the project raised the student's second quarter grade then the value of the project will remain at 200.
