This will be a current event type of assignment. During the course of the quarter you have the opportunity to earn 10 bonus points for turning in a one page typed summary of a current event article, Television show, or other media source that covers a topic related to this class.

• 12 font
• Times new Roman
• 1 Inch margins
• Double spaced.
• MLA citation of source
• Includes 3 discussion provoking questions
• explains the connection between the article and class
  
• If possible a copy of the article
• Article has to relate to topics covered in class
  
• If time allows you will be asked to explain your article to the class
• the discussion questions will help you facilitate a discussion

You can turn in one article per quarter. The last date to turn in a bonus summary is the second to last Friday
