I have decided to create a rescue that is truly out for the best interest of dogs everywhere. At no time will the hopes, dreams, aspirations, or interests of people be put before the safety and future well being of any dog in this rescue! The sole purpose of this rescue is to save good dogs from bad places, and bad people, no matter what human feelings get hurt, or dreams get shattered. It is the desire of this rescue to look past all the human emotions, and rules, and concentrate 100% of our time, energy, and resources, for the good of the animals! There is no room to worry about offending people when it comes to the safety and future well being of a good dog! We humans have messed up enough and hurt others enough to not be trusted or regarded as the guide to future behavior. We must look to the animals as our guides to "get back to the basics" of how to treat one another and our companions, human or otherwise. A dog can bite another animal, or human for that matter, and ten minutes later lay next to them on our bed and go to sleep! Their are no grudges, snide remarks, nor vengeance in their minds. And we are suppose to be superior to them and be able to reason and think through difficult situations and make better choices. However, how many people do not follow that logic? If I swear at you, and you can only remember the word, what have you learned better then me? If I insult you, and you can only remember the sting of pain, what have you done superior to me? This rescue is not here to make you feel better! It is here because people make it necessary. Therefore if this rescue tells you to go away, no matter how softly, nor harshly, do the dogs a favor and just go away! Do not be offended by our words, reflect on why they were said! Ask yourself what you need to do to be a better caretaker of the animals around you! |
