Registration

The British Association for Canadian Studies looks forward to welcoming you to its 34th annual conference at the St Anne's College. St Anne's is set in its own pleasant campus, with conference accommodation and sessions taking place in adjacent buildings, all within a short walk of the city centre. Accommodation for delegates is in single study bedrooms with either private facilities (ensuite) or shared bathrooms (standard). A small number of ensuite double rooms is available. Oxford is easily reached by rail from London and Birmingham or by bus from the major airports. There will be links to further information about Oxford here, as well as more information about both conference and venue.

Inside the conference leaflet is a registration form for the conference. Please return the completed form to the address below as soon as possible. Copies of the form (for either payment in sterling or Canadian dollars) can be downloaded below. We regret that we are unable to accept direct payment by credit card but you may pay by direct bank transfer or by PayPal. To use PayPal (which is now available to non-PayPal account holders) please contact the BACS Office (canstuds@gmail.com) to request an invoice. Finally, please note that dollar cheques made out to sterling are not accepted by British banks and will be returned.

Please return the completed form to: BACS Conference, c/o 2 Ancroft Southmoor, Berwick-upon-Tweed TD15 2TD, UK. The deadline for registration is 1 March 2009, after which there will be a late booking fee of 15% of the total. If you have not registered by 15 March 2009 it will be assumed that you will not be attending. No refunds for cancellation will be possible after 10 March.

Day delegates: You are very welcome to attend single sessions or a whole day. Please pre-register for a whole day (including lunch) by emailing canstuds@gmail.com, and pay at the conference desk on arrival; to attend for part of a day, please register on arrival.
