When and where do you practise?

Aikido is practised in a training hall (dojo) on protective mats. Shoyukan or Backwell Aikido Club is run from the Budokan Backwell Judo Club which can be found off Rodney Road in Backwell, North Somerset.

It meets on:

Monday from 8pm to 9pm

Wednesday from 7.30pm to 9pm

Classes are currently only run for people over the age of 16. They cost £5 per session. There is also a £35 annual membership fee to the club’s parent organisation, the British Birankai. Student membership is £15 a year.
