Welcome Back to Boomerangs from the BrassWind Boat Works. Our custom wood Boomerangs are made in the USA in Indian River Michigan at BrassWind Landing. Buy a boomerang and we make sure you will have everything you need to learn how to throw it and get it to come back to you! We include throwing and tuning instructions with every boomerang. Our boomerangs are made from the wood left over from building kayaks, and other wood boats. The wood is plantation grown and marine grade plywood that would have been thrown away! We support upcycling practices by using the left over wood boat building. Occasionally, when orders are high, we do purchase a sheet of plywood just for making boomerangs. Our goal is to utilize the leftover wood as often as possible.
Our Boomerangs
Safety is always important when throwing a boomerang. Throw your rang in an area that has enough room. Outdoor boomerangs need a minimum of 50 meters for safe throw. Always warn spectators that you are throwing a boomerang and keep a safe distance from your throw. You can read more about wind, layover and elevation in my instructions attached below. They are in a convenient Adobe Reader PDF format for printing or viewing.
Enjoy experimenting with your Lincoln "Back to You" Boomerangs. Many of my boomerangs are made from recycling wood cuts leftover from building wood kayaks and other boats from the boat school where I build boats. Please visit our website at www.artsandadventure.com for more information about custom wood boat building, kayak rentals and sales and new in 2012 the re-opening of the BrassWind Gallery, formerly located in Fremont, MI. PLease don't forget to visit the Web Design Website for my lovely wife, Sheree Lincoln of BrassWind Designs. She helped me set up this Google Site so I could edit it myself. She also installs WordPress websites and custom web design sites locally and she has customers as far East as NYC and Rhode Island.
Enjoy!
