How To Open Clogged Drain. Clogs Croc. How To Open Clogged Drain
Swimmin' in the Park I loved it when I was a kid and the park or the streets flooded. You couldn't keep me out of the water. I don't care how dirty it was. Hell... bacteria weren't even invented yet. The fun kids to hangout with were seperated from the non-fun ones by the latter's mother's pronouncement as they left the house... 'don't get wet.' How about 'don't have any fun' instead? Shit like that might get you relegated to the social status of the kids who had to be home for 'piano lessons.' I can't tell you how many hot summer days that I swam in the Chicago River. Now when I kayak there I see signs that say 'Incidental contact with this water may be dangerous.' We used to have a tool that would open up fire hydrants and we'd clog the drains on those recessed truck loading docks and turn them into four foot deep swimming pools. I thought it was paradise. Swimming in flooded places was always an adventure. I quit doing that one day when I was about twelve and I was up to my waist in some flood water and I got the electric shock of my life. Exploring. Daring. Taking chances. That's what childhood is all about. I was afraid 'childhood' was extinct... Then I saw these kids... maybe the last hold outs. I'll just hafta put 'childhood' on the 'endangered' list now. 29/365 - I haven't dropped off the face of the Earth
How do I sum up these last two days? The simple answer would be: Work. The long answer, well, I won't be too in depth but here are a few other details. Greyhound with an upset stomach. Work. A clogged drain. Work. Taking a 4-year old on a press check that had problems. Work. An open blue marker on the couch. Work. Missed an important appointment. Work. The dryer isn't drying. Work. Helping Eric with a change in jobs. Work. Left my wallet at home when I went grocery shopping (discovered AFTER getting to the register). And some more work. I think that about sums it up. Oh, and just a tiny smidgen of sleep too. :) But all is good, it's the weekend now... and I got one huge snake-bit job out of the way.
