MY LAW DEGREE. MARKETING DEGREE PROGRAMS. MULTIMEDIA DESIGN DEGREE. My Law Degree
Day 165/365 Evidence Had my Evidence exam today. I couldn't take the stress and decided not to go for exam at all. So I text dad to ask for permission not to go for exam. After all he paid for my fees, so he has the discretion to decide whether I should go for the exam or not. Being a lenient dad as usual he replied "Aiya, dont worry too much. Can still repeat next semester whn ur better prepared". Too bad he replied late and I was already in the exam hall. After an hour of lecture from Alwin I decided if die then I shall die in the exam hall. I did finished all the questions (except 2 questions which I wrote in point form). However, I'm not too sure whether I answer it correctly. I know I could have done better because I know all the principles. It's just that I didn't back up my principles with any case law. Everything that I quote are from the Evidence Act and that's all. I feel like a failure. But at least the hardest paper has passed. 2 more exams to go. I'll make sure this won't happen again. Dad, if I fail evidence please have mercy. It's the toughest paper in law degree. Blame the law, not me. Because everybody's got one
Last Friday, I volunteered for an ABA competition at my alma mater and used it as an opportunity to shoot the new law school. When I attended, the old law school was in Beacon Hill - a great area, but the school was woefully lacking in any modern conveniences. Our law library was in a basement, with metal desks and chairs. While you may think this would make an ideal location for studying given the dark and quiet, try spending 12 hours there, in a drafty old brick building, hunched over ginormous books with fluorescent lighting overhead. No more. The new school is beautiful and I couldn't resist taking a few shots in the library. Stay tuned for more shots from inside Sargent Hall. One good thing about going back was the realization that getting my law degree was the best decision of my life, while also realizing that I would never, ever, subject myself to that experience again.
