Footprints Our Mission Baby Steps was founded by members of Shady Grove United Methodist Church-Short Pump. We seek to support mothers, fathers, and children in the Richmond area experiencing difficult or crisis pregnancies, life during/after the NICU, or infant loss. By supporting the March of Dimes and by partnering with Full Circle Grief Center and Young Lives, we seek to offer love, support, encouragement, and hope. Whether families are dealing with a challenging pregnancy, preparing to leave the NICU, or coping with the devastating loss of a child, each day is a tiny baby step. We are there to walk with Richmond families and support them every step of the way. Recent Announcements Baby Steps and Rowdy Moms are proud to co-sponsor a walk team for this year's March for Babies on May 2, 2010. It is the goal of the March of Dimes to help stop prematurity, birth defects and infant mortality. Our small steps will lead to great change for families across Richmond and beyond. Many SGUMC families walked last year in honor of our angel, Michael, who passed away due to complications caused by prematurity and TTTS.
