"Wonders of Montana de Oro" A display panel commissioned by California State Parks - © California State parks 2008 artwork by Faith Rumm; includes photos by Joyce Cory, Jerry Kirkhart, and Michael "Mike" L. Baird. Content says: A Place to Discover - Fascinating geology, diverse wildlife, scenic coastal beauty -- Montana de Oro is a unique landscape. From crashing ocean waves and tidal pools to the bird-filled sky, the plants, animals, and landscape features of this park offer inspiration to photographers, artists, and nature lovers. Raccoons may appear harmless, but can bite if cornered. They also raid campsites for food. Please keep food secured in cars or food lockers. Ocean waves break on tilted layers of shale to create unique geologic formations. The shoreline abounds with oceanic life and an array of animal species. Birds rely on the park's rich natural habitat for healthy feeding and nesting grounds. Reproduction photo for archival purposes here by Michael "Mike" L. Empire State Building is Glowing?
Empire State Building is Glowing?
No, it was the fog and lighting – and the blue hour! It was a spectacular view (and weird) and I haven’t found similar images of the Empire State Building (with 449 meters NYC’s tallest building). I haven't edited this photo, other than that I cropped it, this is how it looked lik! Please press “l” to view on black. This will be my last photo from my New York trip, but I have a few other nice ones I will show soon, not least from Munich Germany! Thank you for watching!
