Funny story - kind of. ;) I am far from a "shoe" person. I seriously own 5 pairs of footware - 1 pair of flip flops, 1 pair of snowboots, 1 pair of "sneakers", 1 pair of dress shoes and 1 pair of "everyday shoes". This drives my husband nuts. He outnumbers my shoes about 4 to 1. He finally convinced me to get a new pair of shoes (secretly, I think it was his plan b/c he ended up ordering 3 more pair......but that's beside the point.) He had me look on the Fleuvog website - there was a great sale going on - I vetoed everything he pointed out. I like to be "safe" with my shoes - I like things very simple and plain - that I can wear with everything - I don't have time to worry about finding the right shoes for every outfit. ;) He pointed out this pair and I vetoed them - b/c the heel wasn't black as well. (told you - I like to be very safe.) I did find a pair I loved (earth angels - environmentally friendly shoes - super cool!) He then informed me he bought me these as well - LOL! This is something he "never" does - so I thought he was joking! But the arrived in my mailbox - and he was right - i really do love them. :) The souls are what drew him to them - in my "past life" I was a music teacher - and music is still a huge part of my life, so I guess he did a great job picking. And he now has the job of picking out all my shoes! (one less thing for me to do - WAHOO!!!)

Yeah, I totally belong in a village. My feet hurt, and the cool earth against the balls of my sole felt so good. You know, it's actually wise to listen to weather forecast instead of being like me, expecting 'good' weather so I packed these walking shoes - called flip flops.
