*secret no. 9* I LOVE SHOES!!!!!! It's one of the first two things I look at on a person. first is teeth- I also adore pretty teeth. Anyway, when I meet someone I check out their shoes. It's not like I won't talk to you based on your shoes, but I can usually tell from your shoes whether or not we're going to get along. (I might not talk to you if you're wearing white heels. I can't stand white heels, except on a bride of course.) I like cool, unusual, practical and comfortable shoes. Not dowdy, but a pair of shoes you can walk in without griping. I actually chose my pediatrician based on her shoes!! Seriously. I had interviewed a few docs and then went to the open house of an IHA office. The doc giving the talk that night was nice and had on the coolest borns EVER. Chose her then and there. And she has proven to be a fantastic, efficient and competent person. I knew it by the shoes :) HAHA. Before kids I would spent money on expensive shoes. Cheap shoes were pointless b/c they wore out easily and I'm into shoes for the long haul. Kids change that!! Now I get a new pair of expensive shoes once or twice a year. Last year were my mary jane danskos and this summer my Keens. BUT my kids have a ridiculous number of shoes..... have to get it out of my system somehow!!

Not the best photo, but a great accessory! Dillo says hello. Blouse: Eileen Fisher, it's sort of shimmery pink/orange. I got it for a wedding 3 years ago. Cheap white cami underneath from Target. Skirt: Bryn Walker, linen. It's very long, and I'm 5'11" - it cracks me up to think of a normal-height person wearing this one. Shoes: have you noticed I only have 2 pairs? I have a shoe problem. I refuse to wear uncomfortable ones. Right now it's only Danskos; I am planning to branch out into Keen for fall (if I can afford a new pair.)
