The review board approved the designation and it will be listed on the State Registry and Will be sent to the National Park Service for the National Listing. One member of the review board commented that the history research on the presentation of the Parachute Building was the best of all the candidates presented today I felt really good for Sarah and Rick for them to be told this today. Rick and Sarah did a fine job in the presentation. We discussed the Historic District being a possible goal including the Navigation training and link trainer buildings.  They have a good bunch of well qualified people on the review board. The chairman is the county attorney from Ness County. A couple of archelology professors one from K State and the other from K.U. A register of deeds from Wellington and several others of history background.  Will fill you in more. We should all feel good about the success in this listing. The procedure was a lot more detailed than I had expected. We are moving ahead. Phillip
