The SHAPE International Toastmasters' Club Number 8953 cordially invites all fellow Toastmasters and their Guests to the Area B1 Spring 2009 Conference & Speech Contest to be held on 04 April 2009 from 1300-1800 hours. The theme of the Area B1 Spring Speech Conference and Contest is "Partnership through Communication and Leadership". This event is open to anyone interested as well, please contact us at shapetoastmasters@gmail.com OR  register via the link above/below. We are always delighted to receive guests.

We encourage the Club Members in Area B1 to participate in and welcome all guests to this exciting event in the city of Mons, Capital of Hainaut and Wallonie/Wallonia, candidate for European Capital of Culture for 2015 and is truly a city steeped in history and culture. This is guaranteed to be an afternoon with lots of fun, interesting and inspiring entertainment and cultural enrichment for everyone!

To gain further support for our Area B1 Spring Contest and Toastmasters in Belgium and in the spirit of developing mutual PARTNERSHIPs between Toastmasters and the local communities of Belgium, we have extended an invitation to the Bourgmestre de Mons et Ministre d'Etat, the Belgian National Military Representative to SHAPE and the SHAPE Headquarters Support Group (HSG) Commander. More to come on this exciting development once the agenda is finalized and sent out after the clubs have held their local contests in March and the contestants are published.

Sincerely,

Matt
