Waddle Dees are highly adaptable creatures that can pretty much live in any environment.  They are the first enemies Kirby's ever encountered, and since then, many variations have been seen, the most common besides the regular being the ones who wield the Parasol.  While most just mind their own business, any trained Waddle Dee can be quite a threat due to their tendency to have higher health than most any other species at higher levels.
