King Dedede

Self-appointed king of Dreamland. Dedede has been in the Kirby series from the beginning. His appetite seems to match that of Kirby. In the anime, he is portrayed to be incredibly stupid, but he really isn't. He just lacks common sense to an extreme, and has some issues with his communication skills. Otherwise, he's smart enough to mechanize his hammer into a jet and even a bazooka, assuming he is the one who did it, which is the most likely case.

From the past to this day, he lives in Castle Dedede, which stands on Mt. Dedede. He has several other castles positioned elsewhere probably for vacation purposes.

In KCCh, he still lacks his common sense, but not to the degree as in the anime. We do not consider the Dedede in the anime to be the same Dedede in the games. Thus in the Japanese version, he won't have his "zoi" accent, and won't talk like an old man(referring to himself as "washi"), but instead more like a schoolyard bully(referring to himself as "oresama").  This speech pattern of his is observed in Kirby's Star Stacker and several other games.
