Welcome!

I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Autism Research Centre working with Dr. Evdokia Anagnostou. My research focuses on development of technologies that address critical gaps in the care of children with autism spectrum disorders.

Previously, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the PRISM Lab at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital working with Professor Tom Chau. My main research interests were design of technologies that improve the quality of care for children with disabilities.

From Aug. 2008 - Aug. 2009, I was a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Cognitive Systems Laboratory, McMaster University, working with Distinguished University Professor Simon Haykin and
the vice-chair of the IEEE Toronto Section Signals and Computational Intelligence Joint Chapter.

In 2006 and 2007, I served as a lecturer at University of Toronto and York University.

I received my Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto in 2008. In my dissertation, I examined the problem of positioning in indoor environments using radio signals from existing Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN). For more details, please see my Research page. I received my B.A.Sc. and M.A.Sc. degrees from the University of Toronto in 2002 and 2003, respectively.

My research interests include intelligent computing systems, pattern analysis, statistical signal processing, and digital media.
