AYSO Region 894 is an all-volunteer organization providing spring and fall soccer programs for elementary through high school kids in the Monrovia, Harvest and Toney, Alabama areas.  Participation is open to all.  The American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) is a nationwide non-profit organization that develops and delivers quality youth soccer programs in a fun, family environment based on AYSO's Six Philosophies:

  • Open Registration (we do not hold tryouts - anyone who wants to can play!)
  • Everyone Plays (we want all players to equally participate in our games)
  • Balanced Teams (we believe the best competition occurs between teams that are even in terms of player experience and ability)
  • Positive Coaching (coaches are here to teach, develop skills and encourage!)
  • Good Sportsmanship (win or lose, playing the game fairly is the most important thing!)
  • Player Development (a commitment to developing each player's soccer abilities)

AYSO is child-first and child focused. We are a soccer organization with happy, healthy kids as our passion. Every decision, every rule and every program has "what's good for kids" as its basis. Every girl and boy stepping on a soccer field for the first time can have fun. AYSO's child-first approach also makes it one of the finest player development programs. Everybody likes to win, but developing successful players and people is what's fundamental in AYSO.

    • New for our 2012 Spring Season - U5 - U8 Soccer!!!!!! In the past we have not had a spring program for our younger children in the U5 to U8 divisions, simply because there wasn't enough participation at this age level to form teams, etc.  The good news is that this spring we plan to offer a pilot program that offers soccer to our younger kids!!!!   The plan is to have two groups - a combined U5/U6 group and a U8 group.  Each Saturday we will host a practice session where the kids will practice basic soccer skills appropriate to their age level and then they will be divided up into teams to let them play.  The intent of the program is to keep the younger kids who want to ...
