How you can run a local food and supply drive!
One way that you can help is by contacting your local animal shelter and asking for supplies that they need. Don't worry... they usually ALWAYS need food and supplies because animal shelters are non-profit organizations. Some things that they might ask for is dog food, cat food, kitty litter, grooming supplies, and pet beds. You can work with your local organizations such as your school, library, youth group, or church to run such an activity. Just be sure to contact the head of the organization. Also, make sure to make many eye catching flyers to put all over the place with drop off information. Good Luck! |
