Ayna has been working with puppies and kittens it seems all her life. She has always had a passion for animals, but never realized their innocence and loyalty until she got her first dog, Muffy (pictured on the left). Her dog is the love of her life, and she would have it no other way. Ayna has done several fundraising and service projects for shelters ranging from standing at a booth in the mall all day to collecting food and supplies at her local library.
Currently at the age of 15, Ayna is working with many organizations and on countless projects to help get the word out with homeless animals. She is combining her love of kids and animals to run a week long summer camp this year in July 2008 to reach the community at a young age. At the same time, she has just undertaken a large scale global project to help stop pet overpopulation, SPOT GLOBALLY. She is raising money through family, friends, local businesses, and other organizations. Ayna is working with the government to implement a Dog Park to raise awareness in one of the existing community parks, and is supporting this with raising funds from sponsorships. Along with these several projects, Ayna continuously runs local food and supply drives at her school, local libraries, and neighborhood.
