Description:The 2009 Sawa Sawa Festival, run by Sarakasi Trust, is here again! The 3 day festival will feature both international and local artist, as well as the outstanding Sarakasi Dancers and Acrobats. Renee Wilson singer song writer/actress in the Oscar award winning movie Ray and the highly acclaimed Dream girls stage musical, will be performing on Friday 29th May 2009. Other artist on the line up are Kenya’s own: Songstress Ayaan Renee, Spotlight Artist Nina Ogot, and musical diva Iddi Achieng just to name a few. Other international acts include Latin Singer Omar, American Country artists Big Kenny and Singer song writer Damien Horne.

 The 2009 Sawa Sawa Festival will kick off on Friday 29th May with a VIP opening night, ticket are on sale for 1000/=. Available at all Books First locaitons, Alliance, The GoDown Arts Center, Capital FM, Sarakasi Dome, 20th Century, Concorde Motors – Hurligham. Saturday 30th May and Sunday 31st May will be fun for Friends and Family, with exciting programs and a kids corner.
