Remember when you are wide awake, and you look around you, and everything is slightly strange, yet vivid and bright? All the colors and geometrical shapes are jumping out at you. And then people appear, you know them, but you cant quite place whats going on, or where you know them from. And then you realize you are dreaming. And you laugh knowing you can do anything! You want to examine every bit of scenery, knowing your own mind created it. You look at the people around you and realise they reflect parts of your own soul. And you dance through the little world you created, perfectly aware of going on. You feel completely free and exhilarated.  The moment is now and there is no tomorrow to take you away from your creation. You laugh with the knowledge that none of what you are seeing is “real” and are fascinated by the power force within your soul.

Then your alarm goes off and you awaken into the “real world”. For a split second you are aware of being in your bedroom, but then your mind interrupts with a bombardment of millions of thoughts about the day, week or year ahead. You no longer see the vividness of physical reality, no longer feel the power of creation and the connection with the energy of the now. You cease to feel the fascination of whats happening in the present because you now believe, being awake and controlled by the outside world, that you are Powerless. Powerless and unworthy. So you lose touch with the moment, set into a safe routine, and continue to miss the miracles that occur every moment of your life.
We miss the best parts of our lives because we are not aware.
But what if we viewed reality though the lens of the belief we have the power to create, to witness beauty in all, too see beyond the limitations of powerlessness and fear?
What if this reality was but a mere dream and we were to awaken to it?
What if, like in a lucid dream, we marvelled at every scene in our life. What if we had no limitations and knew it, and created from our mind what our reality was. And most importantly, what if we wholeheartedly appreciated our creation?
We would have opened the channels of Divine awareness.

We are constantly striving for something ‘more’ than we already have.
Why do we strive? What are we striving for? On the surface it seems we strive for logical purposes – to get a ‘better’ job, a ‘better’ partner, a ‘better’ sex life. But by saying we want something better, we are implying we are lacking all that we need in the moment. We strive to be ‘more’ spiritual, to control our thoughts ‘better’, to ascend to something ‘higher’. But no matter what goal we reach, we begin the striving process again by wanting even more, and never are fulfilled with what we originally strived for. We are never satisfied unless we are ‘wanting’ or have something to ‘work towards’. Do we do this because we feel less than worthy? Do we try to be/have something ‘better’ to prove our worth to ourselves and others?  Why are we never satisfied no matter what our level of ‘success’ is? I propose the problem is in the striving itself. Trying to achieve something better in order to prove worthiness in any sense of the word is basically affirming to the universe ‘ I am unworthy’ ‘I need to continuously improve ____ to be someone’ and so forth. So no matter how many spiritual practices we do, no matter how many diets we go on, no matter how high up in the workplace we get, we still feel something is missing – that there is MORE. The underlying belief of unworthiness is the main force and intent behind striving. Unworthiness is lack of Divine Power. Divine Awareness shatters the illusion of unworthiness, and increases Divine Power. I believe there is only one thing the Soul strives for – Stillness – the exact opposite of striving itself. I believe it craves total attention to the moment, to allow divine order and timing to reign over the changes in ones life, as opposed to forcing a change that might no benifit the person, or be of the right time. The soul craves stillness. Nonmovement. Peace.
Opening the portals of divine awareness involves undying attention to every moment, without changing a thing. To flow with the rhythm of the Universe with love, patience and peace instead of trying to force change with fear-ridden intent.
