Our teacher is Mrs. Mary Fran Lynch. She believes that it is important for us to have a larger audience when we write so she created this space for us to share our writing. Three Words Mrs. Lynch recently came across a project to collect words to describe an event and make them available in a Wordle. A Wordle will take all of the words in a document, and make the words which show up more frequently larger. She thought it would be fun to see what a Wordle of this year's class might look like. Students in Room 12 filled out this Google Form: and created this:  Mrs. Lynch says her goal is to have the students learn while having fun. This Worlde seems to show she achieved the fun part. She says the STAR scores will tell the story of whether or not we learned what we needed to. | Phases of the Moon One of our third grade science standards is to notice the regularity of the Phases of the Moon. Here is a way to help you keep track. Things to Know About Room 12 There is a lot of high tech stuff in class. Everybody in the class is nice. We do lots of fun things. We do a lot with computers. Mrs. Lynch uses the SmartBoard a lot. So far, we are a very smart class. We do a lot of activities in the class. We each get to write with a pen on the SmartBoard. We named the projector "Burnie." We had Art Vistas. Sometimes Mrs. Lynch spends a lot of time getting the SmartBoard to work. Our class is really excited to have our new student here. We have a lot of computers in the class. We like to play math games. We like to play Quiz Show. We all have thumb drives/flash drives. We run a lot around the field. |
