| AVOL conducts ‘intake interviews’ with potential clients to
determine their eligibility for service.
Existing clients must receive
re-certification annually to continue receiving services.
Some of the requirements for service:
- Verification of HIV/AIDS diagnosis
- A current application on file with AVOL
- Income verification through check stub or entitlement program
award letter from the State and/or Federal program demonstrating financial need
- A current, signed, and dated lease agreement (for rental
assistance)
- An original bill (for assistance with other expenses)
- Financial assistance is subject to direct referral from a
client’s HIV Care Coordinator and/or other verification of need and lack of
other appropriate resources in the community to meet need.
