The Antelope Valley Libertarian Party invites you to our Supper Club at 7:00 p.m., the third Friday of each month at the Greenhouse Cafe in the Antelope Valley Mall, 1233 West Avenue P, Palmdale, 661-272-8866. Take the Avenue P exit northbound or the 10 St. West exit southbound on 14. The main entrance to the mall is in the middle of the south side. The Greenhouse Cafe is on the east side of the main entrance

The Guest Speaker at the September meeting has not yet been determined..

The business meeting follows the Supper Club. At the business meeting we discuss future goals and determine how to accomplish them.

September 25th is Pagan Pride Day at Poncitlan Square in Palmdale, from 10 am to 6 pm.  We are doing an OPH and volunteers are welcome.

Tuesday, September 27 at 9:00am there is a "Defend Property Rights" protest at the Library in Lancaster.

There is a proposition we are submitting to the cities in the Antelope Valley condemning the USAPATRIOT Act. The resolutions are identical, and you can read the Lancaster version HERE

AVLP members are prolific writers of letters to the editors of local papers and national publications. We are working to update our "Letters to the Editor" archives; several of our recent letters are not yet online.

If you'd rather just be a spectator, tune in to "The Libertarian Alternative" on Adelphia's public access TV, channel 37, Saturday Afternoons at 4:00. We've provided Adelphia with more than a dozen of Mark Selzer's thought-provoking discussion-and-interview videotapes.

Past

We had a successful Income Tax Protest.  It was on Monday, April 18th, 2011.  The location was at the Lancaster Post Office on 20th Street West.  This will repeat next year.

The Quarts Hill Street Fair was interesting, as the weather did not want to cooperate and tried to wash everyone away.
