Loving Hut hot pot meal!
Loving Hut hot pot meal!
I had already started eating, so it's not a great picture, but this is the Hot Pot meal at Loving Hut in Busan, an all-vegan fast food chain, franchised through the Supreme Master Ching Hai organization. I abolutely love Loving Hut. The food has always been fantastic, the people who work there are super-friendly, and it's great to be in a restaurant that's 100% vegan with vegan messages on the walls and piped in through the Supreme Master TV channel playing from TVs on the wall. Granted, the Supreme Master (benign) cult is a bit strange, but as long as they keep these delicious meals coming, I'm there. This is the hot pot meal with wheat protein, mushrooms, bok choy, carrots, onions and other vegetables in a delicious, hearty spicy sauce, with sides of rice, kim chi and sesame greens. I'm eating it with a lemonade with lime flavor on the side. Just writing about it is making me hungry for more. The whole meal is under 8,000 won, or less than $8.
Hot Doggonit...!
Hot Doggonit...!
Hot Doggonit! If you ever get to visit Vancouver.. You must tryout their specialty hot dogs. It is the best hot dog I have ever eaten, better than the Nathan's franchise here in the US. Although, their better specialty is the "Japadog" stand... Which I should have tried and I didn't find out about it after I have returned back to the states. =(
