Edgar's Van Our transportation for a week. It did not turn out to be what I was hoping. All the american franchise rental car companies had reviews where they had shafted people in one way or another. Finding a scratch and charging them the deductible on their credit card, etc. So, I could go with one of them and get a newer car, but get ripped off in the end or go with this small mexican company that had stellar reviews, but rented mostly old volkswagons and the like. They said they had a newer minivan, which is what I needed with six people. So I went with the mexican company. They showed up with this van that had 175000 km, and the gas light is on. So I made him take me to get some gas. The glove box had a zip tie on it because the lock was gone. I never did see insurance papers for it. The driver side mirror floated in the wind, The rearview mirror fell off two hours after we got to the house. The driver side electric window had to be hand pulled to assist it getting back up. All the electric door locks would start opening and closing at 50km/hr. We called about the rearview and driver side mirrors and they sent a guy down with some super glue. After five attempts he got the mirror to stick (amazingly it lasted the rest of the trip), he took the sand paper from gluing the mirror and crammed it in the driver side mirror to stop it from moving smiled and said see..(that lasted 5 miles). So off into interior Yucatan ruins and monkey preserves we went. Thankfully it got us through...Viva Mexico! Hilton Hotel
Hilton Hotels is a international chain of full-service hotels and resorts founded by Conrad Hilton and now owned by the Hilton Hotels Corporation. Hilton Hotels are either owned, managed, or franchised to independent operators by the Hilton Hotels Corporation. As of 2008 there are 533 Hilton branded hotels across the world. Hilton Hotels became the first coast-to-coast hotel chain of the United States in 1943. The original price for an overnight stay in 1943 was around $20.[1] The company places marketing emphasis on business travel, but owns and operates a number of resorts and leisure-oriented hotels as well. The company's Hilton Honors guest loyalty program has partnerships with airlines and car rental companies. The Hilton brand was re-united internationally after more than 40 years in February 2006, when United States-based Hilton Hotels Corporation purchased the lodging arm of United Kingdom-based Hilton Group PLC, which had acquired Hilton's international operations in 1987 (the companies had been severed originally in 1966).[citation needed] See also: green franchising cost cutter franchise duncan doughnuts franchise dominos pizza franchise owners little caesars franchise opportunities round table pizza franchise child fitness franchise universal adult franchise franchise models franchise store sales |
