• Images must be in a JPEG format. Please include your name in the file name (eg: RSmith01.jpg, RSmith02.jpg, etc.)
• Please submit images whose longest dimension (either the width or height) is as close as practical to 900 pixels.

Hints:
• If you are not a “Photoshop person”, here’s an easy way to resize a jpg image (and it’s quick and FREE! ) . . .
- Go to http://www.resizr.com
- Click on the "Browse" button located just under "Step 1".
- On the file selection screen that pops up, navigate on your hard drive to the photo you want to resize then click on the "open" button at the bottom of the selection screen. This will take you back to the resizr web page.
- To the right of the "Step 2" label, click on the "Upload Image" button. This brings your photo into the website.
- On the next screen, there are all kinds of buttons and boxes and other stuff. This is the "Options Area".
- In the Options Area, locate the "Save As" box and make sure "jpg" is selected. In the "Quality" box , select "high".
- Find the Width and Height boxs that contains size info for your image (in pixels). If you don't know what pixels are, don't worry, it doesn't matter.
- While watching the Width/Height numbers, use the black and yellow "Slider" (above the "Save As" area) until the biggest number in either box (Width OR Height) is "900".
- At the bottom of the Options Area, click on the "Resize My Image" button. This will resize your image and take you to the next web page.
- Click on “View Your Image”. This will take you to a screen where your resized image appears.
- Save the image and rename it to include your name, as above.
- Attach it to your e-mail. That’s it!
• You will probably get the best photos of your artwork if you take them outdoors in sunlight, no flash. It goes without saying that taking the photos before the artwork is framed and under glass eliminates the problem of glare and reflections. (Oops, too late??? If the artwork is really good, it’s worth the trouble to take it out of the frame for its photos.) Photo crooked? Corners aren’t square? Back to Photoshop!
