The plastic bottles can be used easily for growing and seeding plants. 1. Cut around where the scissors indicate for getting a bottom case, or water container. 2. For a bottle less wide than for step 1 cut much higher, as high as you want the pot to be. 3. Cut on top if you want to get a cover for it as well, to keep it warm while seeding (use the bottle cap for some other project.) Dark colors like the chinotto bottle on left work greatest for the main pot part. 4. When the main pot is cut, do a few holes on the bottom, x-acto knife, normal knife or scissors work great. 5. Collect some small rocks on the bottom of main pot so that the drainage will work, then fill with compost and plant whatever you like. 6.
