04 May -2010 UPDATE

  1. 29-30 May 2010: Spring Chito Ryu Karate Clinic - NL: Guest instructor Sensei Shane Higashi.
  2. 05 June 2010: Avalon Karate "White Belt" Tournament.
  3. 06 June 2010: Avalon Karate "Junior Classes" (6pm & 7pm) - last class for the season.
  4. 07 June 2010: Gradings by appointment begin.
  5. 23 June 2010: Avalon Karate "Senior Classes" (8pm) - last class for the season.
  6. 29 June 2010: Summer Session (Tue 8pm) begins ("Blue belts & higher only").
  7. 12 Sept 2010: Regular season recommences -- Fall Registration 2010 begins.

18 Jan -2010 UPDATE

  2. Kumite Equipment - SALE 50% off regular retail (see memo) Order by 31 Jan 2010.
  3. Club jackets - last order by 31 Jan 2010.
  4. Karate NL Team members from Avalon Karate - John Stamp (16 yrs) & Joshua Coady (15yrs).

04 Dec-2009 UPDATE
  1. CSF - last minute cancellation notice received today from the school for tonight's class.
  2. CSF - Dec 7 (Mon) & Dec 10 (Thr) -- cancelled classed due to Christmas Concerts & Events.
  3. MQP- Dec 15 (Tue) -- cancelled classes due to Christmas Concert.
  4. See attached December MEMO for details on "Christmas Parties",  "Gradings" and other important news.

20-Oct-2009 UPDATE
  1. Karate Day 24-Oct-2009-MQP:  Registered participants only.
  2. Kumite Training Program One - starting 01 Nov 2009: Registered participants only.
  3. Karate NL provincial tournament #1 - Sat 14 Nov 2009 - Powerplex, St. John's: see Sensei Ryan for details.

  • AVALON KARATE - TORBAY:  moved to Airport Hts.  New location: Roncali Elem 130 Airport Hts Drive (at end of Major's Path).

    •  *Wed 16 Sep 2009 RON (7:30pm_
