5-speed automatic with the 2.8L 24v VR6 Monsoon sound, sunroof, leather, automatic climate control, etc . . . fully loaded. Just the way Nina wanted it.    5-15-2010: Installed V-Maxx Coilovers, Stratmosphere Swaybar End-links and eBay M3 style trunklid spoiler. Needs more low. Oh, hello there.   Dub Love  7-18-2010 : Chris England hacked out the front sway bar with his angle grinder for me - car no longer has axle grind, and is actually far more neutral in its behavior. There's some trailing throttle oversteer, yet no lift-throttle snapping oversteer to worry about, despite the fact that people warned me the car would spin around the moment I removed the front bar.  10-31-10: The Mad Hatter (Chris England) as well as Andy and Eric helped me install a new Techtonics exhaust with a Magnaflow Muffler, and custom slash-cut the exhaust tip. Sounds nice. Wonderful VR burble on acceleration with mild drone at cruise. 12-11-10: Replaced the crappy V-Maxx springs with much stiffer 525 front / 375 rear springs - the car rides like a dream. 12-15-10: Mounted 205/55R-16 Pirelli Winter 210 Sottozero snow tires on stock wheels. 4-8-11: Finished painting my "Short"beaches (16" x 7" version of Long Beaches) painted bronze, and mounted them with 205/55/16 Michelin MX4 tires. It could use wider/lower profile summer rubber but I want to burn these off first.  9-17-2011: Installed Brembo rotors, Axxis Ultimate pads (street/track pad with high initial friction/medium heat range), and new NGK sparkplugs. Inspected the intake system and figured some gains could be made but it probably isn't worth the time, money, or effort. |
