Project never done '56 GMC ( rocker after the body filler removal)

Body filler can be your friend, however it was not intended to be slatherd on the entire rocker panel that only had two small dents. I took it all off and fixed the dents. If I have to use any filler it will be the size of a nickle. Before there were patch panels there was lots and lots of bondo, on some cars I worked on I found chicken wire and bondo.

Project never done '56 GMC (trying to correct bad ideas)

Yes it was a bad idea. At the top of the fire wall was two big holes that I covered up with some stainless steel. I should have fixed it right the first time and the cover looked hokey. So I covered it up again with a better looking cover lol. But the holes were still there
