Mister Donut!
I have such fond memories of the Mister Donut franchise from when I was a kid, but now it only exists in Japan (and I think Korea?). Here we have milky coffee (the coffee here is really delish, btw), a chocolate donut with some kind of greenish crunchies on it, and a green donut (possibly green tea or pistachio?) covered with cream and chocolate bits and a g-clef ribbon, mysteriously. It was pretty amazing.
Mister Donut and the '63 VW
Although it now advertises Rick's on 5 Restaurant, the sign is originally from an old Mister Donut franchise. I'm glad that Mister Donut survives on the sign at least! Located on US route 5 in Wallingford, CT.
