Was feeling loads better tonight (thanks for all the tips!), so I went out with an old friend from high school. We met when I transfered in senior year and Ian was the student council president. Our friendship mainly consisted of one-upping one another. I have the clearest memories of him doing the Snoopy Dance (from Peanuts) and walking over chairs like Fred Astaire! He would do anything to get a laugh out of someone. Tonight we had yummy dinner at Mongolie Grill (where we used to hang when we were 17) and traded stories before we went bowling! I had the lead for a while, but then lost it by 16 points. Afterwards we stopped by the Regal Beagle for a couple of beers and more banter. It's weird how we graduated almost eight years ago. He stayed in Vancouver the entire time, finished school, got a good start on a great career and maintained his closest high school friendships. I moved all over the place, figured myself out, found my passion (photography) and drifted in and out and back in touch again with various people while creating new friendships. We compared notes and each of us envied what the other person had done, which further supports my "the grass is always greener..." theory. I had a great time. It's nice to know that you can not see someone for years and then still just slip back into your old ways. I swear I will re-inject some creativity in these photos soon, but I was tired and still a little worn out from being ill when I got in, so this was the best I could do.

This chart is a 525 tick crude chart and it shows price breaking a trendline, then a 3x trend method setup. One tip in taking a break of a trendline is to confirm the break by looking at the slow sto and the 3x indicator on the 3x timeframe. Another tip is to use the slow stochastic to confirm the break. The white arrow indicates the 3x trend method setup. Waiting for the first pullback after a trendline break is also a consideration. Trading is simple....but not easy.
