"Writing is the music of the heart that a serene mind can listen, interpret, and give an endless life."-Ann Wilson![]() BUY | Ann
Wilson is a young Indian author who had stepped into the realm of
literature with beautiful ideas, like a promising
tree. She writes in two languages, English
and Tamil. Her first work, "The Pearl Box and the Seahorse," a novella, was written when she was 21 years old, being inspired by a dream and "The Glorious New Creation," portrayed in The Bible in Isaiah 65. "The Pearl Box and the Seahorse," takes the readers into a new world of fantasy where peace and unity among the creatures is the chief concern. The strange characters, namely, the Oyster Queen, the giant octopus, and the seahorse, enhances the beauty of the cute tale. She expresses her innate desire for peace in the world and presents it as a call for human beings to restore peace on the face of the earth. The story runs along the coasts of England and a mysterious island where human beings live in peace with wild and strange beasts. The beauty of life in the island and its glory are described in "The Mystery of Frideswide," with a more interesting plot and entertaining magic. Through her works, she clearly illustrates the glory of peace, as well as emphasizes the need to turn from violence to attain a happy and contended life on earth. |
