Get Out There!

So basically everywhere in Australia is amazing and worth seeing, but below are some ideas and prospects according to my travels in Oz. Remember, when looking for a travel provider, check their eco-status, their student/backpacker deals, and their association with other providers. Sometimes, they work together and by staying at 'A' in one city, you get a free night or free drinks at 'B' in the next city! Australia is very backpacker friendly...and just plain friendly! So get out there, enjoy yourself, meet some new and great people...just don't forget to love our planet at the same time.

In my stay in Australia, I was living in Surfers Paradise and attending Griffith University. Surfers was a great central location to live at with many things to do and lots of easy ways to learn about the rest of Australia. This page has travel tips from the standpoint of someone living in Surfers, but it is easy enough to apply the same ideas to wherever in Australia you may be!
