Well where do I begin! I decided in 2005 when i was 15 to buy myself a project to do and drive when I was 17. I wasnt into all the boy racer stuff like corsa's and saxo's so i thought id get something thats different from the crowd but has the iconic look about it, so I bought a morris pick up. It was different and the plans i had should have worked out great! But after much time thinking and slowly doing the odd bit here and there (a whole year) i realised the costs would be too much so I decided to sell and buy something with an mot for under a grand. I had to get a mini due to being a big fan of them since i was about 11 (first viewing of the italien job got me hooked) So the search began!
My Dads route to work took him past a nice looking yellow mini that was for sale. So I cycled round to Maghull from Formby one evening with my mate Adam to view the car. We were both surprised at the originality of the car the little amount of rust to sort out and the uber low mileage of 19000 miles for a car from 1980.
So after i viewed it i decided to sleep on making a decision. The next day i decided that this was the car for me so i got 100 quid together and put down a deposit so the car was secured.

So now once the morris and boat are off the lawn and drive I can collect the mini and the work and fun can begin.
Booked my place on the janurary 14th 2007 wirral to llandudno mini run! I just hope i have the car sorted by then!!
The morris and boat are now sold and i am just waiting on collection so im hoping i have the mini within 2 weeks!
Morris has now gone :( (piccy of it leaving) only waiting on the boat to go now so i can collect the car! Only 400 quid to pay off now! 600 has already been payed! The boat has also gone now so i can go and collect the car!!!
