Camping Trip

posted Apr 10, 2012 6:58 PM by Luis Matthews

Spring camping at Valley Forge is quickly approaching. (4/20-22) We are in need of a head count so that appropriate food can be purchased. Please let your Den leaders know if you will be attending no later than this Saturday 4/14. The camp where we will be staying costs a bit more than camp Grice, so this one will be $15/person. Money will be due at our Pack meeting on 4/19.

This trip looks to be a good one with a day trip on Saturday to Valley Forge National Park. Hope to see you there.

Camping Scoop

posted Oct 7, 2011 12:21 PM by Luis Matthews

Good evening everyone-
We will be camping Oct 14, 15 and 16th. Food is provided from Saturday morning thru Sunday morning.  The pack will do all the cooking together so nothing is needed as for the food. Payment is $12 per person for the camping trip- we would like to have a head count this Thursday. (if not sleeping over $10 PER PERSON) Please sign up with all den leaders and pay them for camping. They will have permission slips for you to fill out. Friday night some people do come down to camp. Friday dinner is individual families - pack does not cook anything. We do ask for each family to bring a snack to share with those who do camp Friday night. If anyone would like to follow going to camp please let your leader know and we can make arrangements. I do know many of us will be heading down Friday at 3:30!  Please plan for cool/cold nights. If anyone needs tents or anything please let your leader know and we will try to help out with some of our extra gear.

Directions and other information can be found on our camping page.
