Active Studio Monitors3:43 PM, November 21, 2006I'm thinking of getting a pair of active studio monitors, any thoughts? Oh, and some sort of audio interface to go with it, maybe the Echo Layla 3G? I like the expandability of the ADAT input.

For now, you'll have to make do with mini-reviews.

First Post!8:12 PM, November 1, 2006Sweet, here we are... getting started. What this site is going to be for is just to document my experiences with various audio equipment and relating stuff. It's hosted on Google Pages as you can see, so sorry, nothing complex like comments, ratings, or RSS feeds (yet? hehe). If you want to drop me line, feel free here. I'll try to state how I know this equipment, but most of it was purchased with my own money for my own use, some of it for my church, and some of it I just happened to use at some point. I'll also try to update the reviews periodically as different things happen (e.g. if an item breaks after I write the review, I'll try to go back and note that on the review with the appropriate date notated). Just so you know, lots of stuff will be changing for a while, as I'm getting started. |
