AUCFH has two special events planned for family weekend so that our players can show their parents what the team has been up to all season! All friends and family are welcome to attend!

The American Eagles finished 2-2 after a weekend of home openers this past Saturday and Sunday. They won their first game on Saturday morning against Loyola 2-0. French player Max Darfeuille scored the first goal in the second half. Darfeuille also netted the second goal off a reverse sweep from the left corner. Freshman goalie Amy Farina captured her first college shutout with help from a strong defensive line including standouts, sophomore Kendall Byl and senior Bryan Avolio. The Eagles fell 2-1 to the Virginia Tech Hokies in their second game of the day. Carla Villavicencio and Lauren Allen held strong in the midfield but the Hokies offense was able to get off more shots. Darfeuille scored the Eagles' lone goal. Sunday opened with a 3-2 victory over Navy. It was a close match tied up at 2-2 for a while, but the Eagles offense was able to net a third goal to win the game. For the final game of the weekend the Eagles lost to the University of Delaware with a final score of 3-1. Senior Alexa Marymor and freshman Alex Lewis were standouts on offense, while sophomores Christina Goggin and Caitrin Anderson held strong on defense.

Our semesterly informational meeting is on Monday, August 24th at 9PM in MGC 200. This meeting is for new and returning players to give general information about the club, outline the goals and expectations of the season, fill out required paperwork, and go over the game and practice schedules. ALL PLAYERS ARE WELCOME! Male and female, undergraduate and graduate, beginners and experts.
Be sure to bring a calendar to write down dates and a photocopy of the front and back of your health insurance card.
NEW PLAYERS: If you are sure you want to commit to the team, you can bring $75 dues to cover the cost of a team jacket.
RETURNING PLAYERS: Your dues will be reduced to $50.
We look forward to meeting everyone!

The club's end of the season wrap up meeting is this Monday, April 13th at 9:30PM in MGC 245. We'll be discussing our banquet, captain elections, constitution amendments, and our outlooks for the fall season and beyond. Please make every effort to attend!
