PART ONE
(50 points)You all have selected an actor or actresses that you are going to base your project on. The first part of the project will be a TWO page biography on your selected person. You must utilize at least THREE credible sources for your research. For this section, you must use appropriate MLA citations for all ideas that are not your own. Plagiarism will result in a zero for this part of the assignment. If you fail to cite your sources, it is considered plagiarism.
PART TWO
(75 points)
You must watch THREE movies that your selected person has starred in.. After you have watched all three, you will write a ONE page summary followed by a ONE page critique for each movie. In other words, you should have two written pages for each movie viewed. This is the standard format for the film critiques assigned in class. By the end of this section, you should have a total of SIXpages.
You will write a TWO page reflection paper as to what you thought of your selected person after learning about his/her life and after watching three of his/her movies. Sample questions could include the following:
-What did you think of the personal life of your selected person?
-Are there any similar themes between all three movies?
-Which was your favorite movie?
-Do you feel that your selected person impacted the history of film? If so, how?
-After doing your research and watching the movies, do you like your selected person? Why or why not?
-Do you think that your selected person would be successful in Hollywood if they were to begin their careers today? Why or why not?
PART FOUR
(25 points)You must have a picture of your selected person on your cover page. Also, include at least one page of pictures within your project. Each picture must have appropriate MLA citations beneath it. The more visually impressive your project is, the more points you will receive in this section.
IMPORTANT NOTES
-The written parts of this project must be done in Times New Roman with a font size of 12.-DO NOT skip a line for new paragraphs within the paper. Everything should be double spaced.
-DO NOT put your heading (name, date, period) on any other section of this paper except the title page.
-You MUST hand in your entire final project to Turnitin.com by the due date or you will receive no credit for the project.
-If the project has multiple grammatical and spelling errors, it will greatly hinder your grade. Take the time to proofread your final projects!
-The entire project, including the picture page(s), the cover page, and the bibliography should be a MINIMUM of 13 pages.
-Some of the movies might be hard to find, so start looking early! If you have trouble locating a movie, tell me and I will try to assist you.
