Trying out another game trading website right now called Goozex ( goozex.com). The thing I like about Goozex versus other trading sites I've tried is that you don't need to trade 1 on 1. What this means is that instead of finding someone who has something you want and trading them something they want you simply offer up your games for Goozex points. These points act as a form of trading currency which you can put towards getting games you want in return. So far I've traded Rainbow Six Vegas (Xbox 360) and Katamari Damacy (PS2) for a total of 1,150 points. Now when a game on my want list hits Goozex the points will be deducted from my account and the game will ship to me. You with me so far? The only downside I can see to this site is long wait times to receive the games you want. Currently I only have Ace Combat X (PSP), GR:AW2 (Xbox 360), Bioshock (Xbox 360), Guitar Hero 2 (Xbox 360) and Battlestations Midway (Xbox 360) on my list. Ace Combat X may be a possibility, but the others will most likely not show up on the site for months yet. Even then, who knows how many other people ahead of me are also waiting for those games. I'll post updates on my experience with the site as they come in. Currently, all I've done is shipped games which was a breeze. Goozex has a option to print out mailing labels which includes a little insert to stick in the package with your game. Some of the point values for games are questionable, but for the most part they are acceptable. Just be sure to double check what your games are worth before sticking them up on the site. Unless they are just pure crap and you want to get rid of them regardless.

Paper currency, regardless of it’s technical beauty, elegant craftsmanship and saturation into everyday life, it is one of the most commonly overlooked aspects of remarkable design… so I chose to redesign some. I decided to go with the Philippine peso, as I will be traveling to Australia and Southeast Asia this winter. I chose to focus primarily on applying governmental requirements, specific imagery, color, and form relative to the Philippines that showcased both internal and external associations with this island nation, and I am more than pleased with the result. I plan to distribute them to locals, possibly as trade if and when I arrive.
