Welcome to UCSB! (astro-postdocs)

Here's some information to make your transition easier:

Visiting UCSB
Moving to the Santa Barbara and Goleta area.
Map of the campus. You'll probably work in Broida Hall.
An office has been assigned to you, but you'll need keys and door codes.
Physics Computer Services (PCS) has everything you need to get a network connection in your office, email address, etc.
You'll want to get paid for your services.
Once that is done you can enroll in health insurance.
Sign up for departmental mailing lists. The Astro Group lists are astro, astro-postdocs, and astro-teamakers. (You will be added to Allbroida and Postdocs automatically.)
Don't forget to join everyone for AstroTea at 3:30pm!
