Our group was founded in 1994 with the aim of of discovering the social and architectural history of our twin villages of Aston Tirrold and Aston Upthorpe, and making that history available to both the village and the wider world through  a range of booklets on various aspects of village history – see our Publications List page. We also have other topic booklets in the pipeline.

We hold also hold regular exhibitions to mark special events in the village - the first such was to celebrate the centenary of the purchase of the Recreation Ground in 1897 (1997).

In the course of our work we have accumulated a fascinating archive of village papers and photos, which we are in the process of recording electronically.
