Post Office Franchise - State Video Franchise - Hotel Franchise Development. Post Office Franchise
Postman Pat This is the smallest vehicle ever operated by Quicksilver and some will say it isn't a proper bus even though it has eight seats and is licensed as a PSV. Its story is that the Royal Mail have recently cancelled the Ashfordly Post Bus, causing an outcry among residents of the most isolated moorland communities who relied on it as their only means of transport. We have agreed to take over on a franchise basis using this Land Rover which wears full Royal Mail livery but is owned and operated by Quicksilver; note the apt registration PO57 BUS. Yellow "postbuses"
The yellow buses are regional buses. They are very, very comfortable. I've even seen some with air conditioning in summer (which might not be a sustainable solution, but people who don't like warm temperature feel better.) The post office used to have a network of buses. Nowadays either they are franchised or the new owners kept the company name. The symbol and yellos colour started with the first post coaches in Germany run by the Turn and Taxis family.
