Sandy Jensen Inman My family moved to Bountiful when I was in the middle of 6th grade. I joined some of you in Mr. Fisher's class at the high school where Bountiful Elementary had its overflow. I appreciated the way you accepted me with kindness and friendship. After graduating from Bountiful High I attended the University of Utah where I met Mike Inman, an East High graduate, on a blind date. Mike served an L.D.S. mission to Florida, and I graduated in 1963 with a degree in Elementary Education. Mike and I married that year, and I taught at Ensign Elementary for 4 years before starting our family. We have 3 children: Melanie, Jon (who passed away in 1995) and Marc. We lived in Salt Lake, Idaho Falls and Mesa before settling in Bountiful. I returned to teaching in 1981 and spent most of my years at Meadowbrook Elementary teaching 2nd and 4th grades. Melanie and I earned our Masters degrees together in 1994. I retired in 2003, but have been working part time for the University of Utah Education Department as a supervisor of elementary student teachers. It has been an interesting feeling to teach in the same classrooms where I once sat as a student. Mike is still working as a publisher's rep, and we are enjoying our calling in a Young Adult Ward where Mike is Bishop. In 2003 I was part of a group who started a Bountiful Historical Museum in a small office located at 845 So. Main. We are in the process of raising money to build a South Davis Area Museum. Other hobbies I enjoy: playing piano & organ, pressing & photographing wild flowers, writing family histories with my sister, Dott, and writing poetry. The joy of our lives is helping tend our 3 adorable grandchildren: Melanie's 9 year-old Ryan and Marc & Frances's 6 month-old twins, Claire & Alice. In the past few years we have been able to travel as a family to Italy, Hawaii and on a cruise to Mexico. I am looking forward to seeing all of you at the reunion! We had a wonderful class, and we were so blessed to grow up with such good friends. Maidu Varik & The Faculty Of The Kuressaare Gumnaasium
Maidu Varik, the assistant principal of the high school at the Kuresssare Gumnaasium, bands together with other teachers who are also dressed up like rock stars. He and the others did this as part of their annual performance, and they had a wonderful time. The scholars loved it and thought it was very entertaining! Maidu was my boss when I taught at the Kuressaare Gumnaasium from 2002-2003, and he is a wonderful person.
