About Assia

Effective foriegn language instruction must be focused on the role of an individual in an multilingual environment. A language teacher should use a variety of methods and techniques to reach everyone so that no one is left behind (Multiple Intelligence). In every lesson, one of all of the five "C's" of the National Standards should be implemented: Communication, Community, Connection, Comparison, and Culture.

After many years of teaching, I feel as excited as the day I started, only with more experience. I love the challenge of preparing our youth to have a positive impact on tomorrow's society. I continue to keep abreast of the skills associated with my field (Foriegn Languages).
